A quote to think about...

There are so many quotes that inspire me about children and my students that it was hard for me to pick just one for this post. I have recently been trying to make an effort every day to think about this quote in the way that I talk to each of my students. Sometimes the idea of how much of an influence I can have on their lives and their self confidence can be daunting. But at the same time, I find it to be a great honor and privilege to be able to touch so many children in so many different ways. I have a great job!

So important to remember.

  1. Great quote Amanda! This is interesting to think about. It makes us think more about our words and how they influence young children. Such a good think to ponder on. It reminds me of this quote: "Children soak up what they see and hear like a sponge. Beware the puddles you leave behind." Thanks for the thought provoking quote! I wish all the best in your journey of your Master's!

  2. Amanda, I agree the quote the way we talk to our children becomes their inner voice. The way we speak to our children will affect them their entire lives. They are like sponges and they truly look up to there care grivers. Good luck and wish you all the best.
